Like Father like Son. Isaac has really been dishing out the one liners lately. Here's the latest stand-up act by the 2 year old (2 going on 10!)
1. We sometimes play the rhyming game at night. He'll say a word and I'll say what rhymes with it or visa versa. He started out with the usual "dog" "cat" then he moved onto "ring." I repeated the word. But before I could say a word that rhymed with it, he said, "Put a ring on." I laughed and said, "Put a ring on?" "Yeah," he said, "Put a ring on it. That's what the ladies sing." Watch out Beyonce.
2. He's very into my iPhone. He can work it better than most adults. When he grabs it and I ask "What do you think you're doing?" His response: "I'm just checking my email." Oh, brother!
3. I caught him running through the house looking in drawers in our bathroom. I asked him what he was doing, "I'm just chilling, mom." Great. Chill till your heart's content. Just don't paint the walls with my deoderant.
4. He knows we are going to have a baby brother or sister in the future. And he has figured out he gets brownie points when he talks to my belly. Only the other night he pulled up Dan's shirt and said, "Dada, I want to talk to your baby."
