For I have committed Blogging sin. I haven't blogged in....oh...what was it, Kat....like over 55 days. Longer than the BP oil spill. Longer than the Great Flood. Longer than I care to admit. But I'm not here to give you excuses or whine about my "busy life" or tell you to have pity on me because I am preggo and tired. I'm just here to tell you I'm sorry. I'm going to be better at blogging because I really do MISS it. And I miss you. I miss this funny community of people and all your comments.
So...to begin I'm gonna tell you BOY do I have some work cut out for me! Namely...DECORATING A LITTLE GIRL's Nursery!
That's right...this little human growing inside me is a little girl! So for my first post after a LONG and overdue return to blogging...I'm gonna ask for some opinions.
1. Names. We were all set on a boy's name. And unfortunately it just won't work for a girl. What do you like? What "goes" with us? (Dan, Jennifer, and Isaac?)
2. Nursery Themes. In the coming days I will post some drool-worthy pics of professionally decorated nurseries. Then we can all scoff at the price tag and brainstorm how we can do it on the cheap.
So, am I forgiven? Can I start on a fresh foot and still have your readership?

A good name to go with your last would be something of the scottish, irish, english backing. Like Kate or Maggie. No, I'm not kidding.
Can't wait to see the baby room ideas you have. Although I have to say, orange SHOULD be incorporated... somehow.

We're also expecting a girl, though I feel like we might have to meet her before she has a name.
In the interim, Josh & I spend a lot of time on nymbler.com. It is awesome. You plug in names you like and it spits out lists of others you might like based on your preferences. So, you could pop in Isaac's name, and the other boy name(s) you picked out, but have it give you girl names. So fun.
YAY! And WOW... I couldn't agree more with the last post. Maggie is perfect. I was going to sit and cruise names... but I vote for maggie.. kate is cute, my nieces name... but I don't think thats it. yay jenn!!!!
If I were going to get to pick any more girl names, I'd go with Julianne, Emily, or Annamarie. For a last name of McGuire though, I vote for Julianne.

I wouldn't use the sheets, though ... just the stuff that doesn't actually have Dr. S stuff on it. I just like the bold colors and you can do so much to go with it.
Do you have pictures of Isaac's nursery in here somewhere?
The worst part about taking a long blogging break isn't what it does to us, your readers - - - it's what happens to you the blogger. 'Cause it seems to me when I've had to stop posting for a while I lose commenters and it takes a while for them to come back!
Okay, you know my vote already. Quinn is the cutest girl name ever. I also like Annalise but Anna is becoming pretty popular. Yea!
